If you are late and Recovery Lab chooses to continue with the treatment, the full value of the session will still be charged and no credit shall be applied.

What do I wear for a Stretch session?

Wear something comfortable that allows for movement and does not restrict your range of motion. Apparel that you can easily move and stretch work best.

What can I expect to feel after a Stretch session?

Clients have typically reported feeling rejuvenated, with an increased range of motion, and other benefits that will help you move better throughout your daily activities.

What do I wear for a Cryotherapy session?

Come as you are! We will provide everything you need that is required for your cryotherapy session (robe, gloves, socks and slippers). Dressing room included.

What can I expect to feel after a Cryotherapy session?

As most of our clients would say after exiting the chamber, “I feel frozen!”. Which is completely normal. Once you return to room temperatures, your body will start to move the newly oxygenated blood throughout your body and back to your extrem. You’ll leave feeling refreshed with a rush of energy to tackle the rest of your day!

What is the minimum age for Cryotherapy?

The Cryotherapy Chamber is designed for an adult-sized person.  The platform you stand on can be raised and we also have a booster to help so your head is completely above the top rim of the unit. Although cryotherapy cannot hurt children, they may be too small or too short for the cryotherapy chamber. Client under the age of 18 years old must have parental/guardian consent and supervision.

How many Cryotherapy sessions should I do?

This depends on the intensity, duration, frequency and type of training you are doing. If you’re injured or suffering from pain, it depends on your recovery time or when the injury happened. For optimum recovery results, we do recommend 2-3 times per week to feel the greatest results.

Is Cryotherapy just for athletes?

No way! Everyone can enjoy the benefits that cryotherapy has to offer. However, if you have any of the following conditions, you may want to consult with your primary doctor before coming in for cryotherapy treatment:

Pregnancy, severe Hypertension (BP> 180/100), acute or recent myocardial infarction, unstable angina pectoris, arrhythmia, symptomatic cardiovascular disease, cardiac pacemaker, peripheral arterial occlusive disease, venous thrombosis, acute or recent cerebrovascular accident, uncontrolled seizures, Raynaud’s Syndrome, fever, tumor disease, symptomatic lung disorders, bleeding disorders, severe anemia, infection, cold allergy, age less than 18 years (parental consent required & parent must be present during treatment), acute kidney and urinary tract diseases.

Is there a weight limit?

The recommended weight range is 350 lbs. or less.  The safety and well-being of our clients is our top priority! Clients must be able to stand comfortably inside the chamber, with ample space so as to not be touching the inside walls and able to rotate within the chamber.
