Fibromyalgia

Serving the Greater San Bernardino County Area including Rancho Cucamonga, Ontario, Fontana, Upland, CA

Fibromyalgia is a moving target. One day it’s soreness. Another day it’s brain fog, sleep issues, or straight-up exhaustion. At Recovery Lab of Rancho Cucamonga, we provide wellness services which bring the edge off, but don’t overwhelm your system.

We keep it simple. We have options that relax tension, promote circulation, and make you feel more in charge of yourself. Procedures like red light therapy and compression, and assisted stretching are meant to complement your body, not force it past a boundary.

Fibromyalgia

  • How can these services help with fibromyalgia symptoms?

The majority of individuals who have fibromyalgia struggle with muscle pain, stiffness in the joints, and tiredness. The point here is not to fix or repair anything. The treatment is designed to aid your body in a gentle manner so it has a chance to rest and recover. Red light reduces inflammation, compressed air increases circulation, and alleviates the feeling of heaviness in the legs. Guided stretching keeps you active without adding extra strain, providing relief instead of soreness.

  • What kind of treatments do you offer that are fibromyalgia-friendly?

We offer several non-invasive services that have helped clients with fibromyalgia feel better day to day:

  • Red Light Therapy may reduce inflammation and ease muscle tension
  • Compression Therapy supports circulation and can lower swelling and fatigue
  • Assisted Stretching helps with range of motion and stiffness, without overdoing it
  • Cryotherapy is not for everyone, but some clients find the cold helps with deep pain and recovery

Everything’s adjustable. If something doesn’t feel right, we pause or change direction. You’re in charge.

  • Will I feel sore after a session?

Unlikely. These aren’t high-impact workouts. Most of our fibromyalgia clients leave feeling lighter, less tight, less foggy, and less achy. We keep the sessions short and focused. There’s no pressure to push through discomfort. The point is to help your body relax, not to stress it more.

  • Do I need a doctor’s referral to book a session?

Not at all. You don’t need a prescription or diagnosis to use our services. That said, no matter what you add to your day-to-day care plan should be discussed with your doctor first. And if you already have a diagnosis, make sure to let us know so we can work around it. And tailor the treatment more to you. We’re here to support what you’re already doing, not replace it.

  • How often should I come in to see results?

Everyone’s different. Some clients come a few times a week. Others book sessions when things flare up. There’s no strict schedule. If you’re feeling wiped out, we may start with shorter, lower-intensity services like red light or compression. If you’re having a good week, we might try layering in assisted stretching. The goal is to build a rhythm that works with your energy and your pain levels.
