Hyperbaric Therapy for Anxiety Support
Serving the Greater Los Angeles County Area including La Verne, Claremont, Glendora, San Dimas, CA
Anxious energy does not always stay in your head. It shows up in your shoulders, your breath, your ability to sit still. At Recovery Lab of La Verne, we see this often — clients who feel wired, foggy, or on edge and are looking for a space to slow down.
Hyperbaric oxygen therapy is one of the wellness tools we offer to support this. Clients describe leaving a session feeling clearer and more alert, without the jittery edge often tied to anxious energy. It is not a treatment for anxiety, and it does not replace licensed mental health care. It is a supportive space many people build into how they manage their week.
ANXIETY SUPPORT
- How Might Hyperbaric Oxygen Support a Calmer Mind?
During a session, you lie down as pressure and oxygen levels rise in the chamber. The increased oxygen supports your body at a basic physiological level, and many clients report feeling more alert and clear-headed afterward, without the crash often tied to caffeine or stimulants. There is no needle, no sedation, and no recovery time needed once the session ends.
Your mind and body are connected. When your body gets what it needs to function well, your thinking often follows. This does not erase anxious thoughts, but it can give your system a chance to settle.
- Who Uses This Service?
People come to us at different points. Some are managing ongoing stress from work or life demands. Others feel foggy, tired, or on edge without one clear reason. Some are already working with a therapist and want a space supporting their body alongside this work.
You do not need to be in crisis to come in. Many clients use hyperbaric sessions regularly, as a way to stay ahead of burnout rather than reacting once they are already overwhelmed.
- Can This Work Alongside Therapy or Medication?
Yes, and many of our clients do exactly this. We are not a substitute for licensed mental health treatment, and we never present ourselves as one. What we offer works best as a complement to therapy, medication, or whatever care plan is already in place — a space supporting the body alongside the work being done elsewhere.
If you have a specific diagnosis or a condition your doctor is actively managing, check with them before adding hyperbaric sessions to your routine, particularly if you have a history of ear infections or a collapsed lung.
- What Can You Expect at Your First Visit?
You do not need a plan walking in. We will ask how you are feeling and what you are looking for, then talk through whether hyperbaric oxygen fits, or whether another service might be a better starting point.
Sessions are quiet and low-pressure, in every sense. Most clients find the environment itself calming, separate from anything the oxygen is doing. If your mind feels loud and your patience feels thin, come in and let us help you find some space.
